“I’ve been lucky enough to be supported by The Helpful Coach Ltd through my MHFA training. I’m grateful for the space Emma held for each of us to talk, question, discuss and practice openly without judgement.
Despite being online, she managed to create an environment that felt comfortable, even if many of us didn’t know each other personally.”

“Emma recently lead two very informative and supportive programmes within our Academy: Mental Health Awareness and Helping Children with Loss.
Both programmes were highly regarded by the staff attending and were particularly relevant to staff in school during the current COVID climate.
Emma lead the courses with confidence and our staff felt very supported throughout the courses.
I can recommend Emma and her friendly and positive outlook to any school that is interested in understanding how to support children in school who have experienced loss or for staff who wish to have a deeper awareness of supporting their own mental health and the mental health of those around them.”

“Working with Emma is a breath of fresh air! She is kind, knowledgeable and amazing at what she does. I completed an 8 week group mindfulness course with her and it had such a positive impact on my life and wellbeing.
Her background in L&D positions her perfectly to run her sessions in a really engaging and impactful way. I would highly recommend Emma and the team for any wellbeing / mental health courses they run.

“It was great working with Emma, as a team we weren’t sure what we wanted as there were a few options. Emma talked through each one and then followed it up with an email so I could share and discuss with my team.
The team chose the Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health qualification as this option gave the opportunity to design and contextualise the session to their day-to-day roles.
Emma ran the session virtually over several days to allow the team to absorb the learning and prepare for the sessions. Also allowing the team time to discuss as a group in-between sessions.
The feedback from the team has been great, they enjoyed the breakout rooms and gained a lot from the discussions and interactive activities Some of the teams were a little apprehensive about the assessment, but they felt prepared there was enough time for revision.
One of the comments from the team was “Most people don’t like assessments, but Emma was fantastic and extremely reassuring”
The feedback from the team was that they have learnt so much, especially from Emma’s examples and gave them insight into mental health issues to give them the understanding to discuss these topics more confidently.”
